PULS Talent Program

TN Hospitality Advisors and PULS establish the PULS Hospitality Talent Program

Far too many young people in Denmark disregard the hospitality sector as a viable career option. Aiming to encourage greater interest among the management talents of the nation and ensure highly qualified labour for the future of the Danish hotel industry, TN Hospitality Advisors in partnership with PULS has instituted a new Danish talent program.

PULS Hospitality Talent Program

The PULS Talent Program will be launched in 2024 with financial support from the Edith Therkildsen Foundation. Every year, a brilliant management talent within the Danish hotel sector will be given the opportunity to attend a professional development program at the prestigious Cornell University in New York State. The university is recognised as one of the world leaders in talent development within the hospitality industry. The financial support the winners receive will covers tuition fees at Cornell University as well as air transport and accommodation in the USA with a total amount of up to DKK 100,000.

Winners of the PULS Talent Program will be selected by TN Hospitality Advisors in partnership with the PULS Ambassadors, consisting of six leading industry profiles, in addition to a representative from the Edith Therkildsen Foundation.

The 2024 winner was announced at the PULS conference in September 2023.

TN Hospitality Advisors expresses its gratitude to the Edith Therkildsen Foundation for their visionary support for the PULS Talent Program and the development of management talent within the Danish hospitality industry.

Despite her young age, Anna has gathered great experience and recognition, particularly within the field of restaurants. She has worked at restaurant Ghrelin in Aarhus, Denmark, and the Michelin and World’s Best Restaurant awarded Eleven Madison Park restaurant, as they opened a pop-up in Sydney, Australia.

Subsequently employed by the Shangri-la hotel chain, she is currently working at Hyatt Regency in Brisbane, Australia and is expected to return to Denmark in 2024.

Anna has previously been acknowledged as both Denmark’s and the Nordics’ best waiter apprentice.

The prestigious award brings a Professional Development Program at Cornell University – an Ivy League university in the state of New York, USA, and known to be the best hospitality university in the world.

Appraisal for all nominees

All nominees deserve appraisal for their hard work and exceptional accomplishments, while further receiving guidance to continue building their promising careers within hospitality.

The PULS Hospitality Talent Program therefore seeks to further aid the three remaining nominees by facilitating a short-term internship developed in collaboration with the nominee in order to strengthen their profile and desired career path within hospitality.
